It's speed-up time at Garness Jones
Property agents Garness Jones are flying high with a new information system.
Since switching to Agency Pilot, the Hull-based company reports improved flow of
information, leading to a more efficient service for customers.
"The ease and speed of sharing information are huge benefits of this new system",
said director Dave Garness. As part of our strategy for growth, we have taken on
more staff, including surveyors. Agency Pilot will support our plans.
The new system was developed by Sheffield-based Alcium Software, whose sales director
Jonathan Williams was responsible for putting it in place.
It takes on board any property information that Garness Jones wants to be logged,
basic things like the length of lease and prices, said Mr Williams. It can achieve
an improved analysis of practice performance through management reports and provide
a more professional service to clients, with individually tailored brochures and
bespoke client reports.
The system also automatically updates the Garness Jones website and feeds back information
to the company about who has visited the site.
The majority of the agency’s 19 staff have been trained in Agency Pilot, which has
included specialised training for managers and surveyors who have found it useful
in cross referencing on related instructions.
The system also allows staff to look at the history of deals and retrieve comparable
information, giving the most up-to-date and historically accurate property details
possible.
We are already seeing the benefits of the investment, said Mr Garness. It allows
all of us to track clients' property activities. We can all access information so
that we can see the whole of our activity when we need to.
As a company we have grown, and the way we accessed and used this information needed
to be upgraded.
This latest development follows the success Garness Jones has seen from increased
property referrals following the relaunch of its website.
